Water, the clear translucent and healing properties of it, were the main theme to the SS18 RTW Chanel collection. The jewels were composed of rock crystal beads and drops which resembled globules of crystal clear water. Blue rhinestone statement necklaces showcased the color palette of water and acrylic bracelets in soft pastel shades of pink, blue and purple sported the iconic interlocking double CC logo.

MANISH ARORA: The collection was aptly named ‘Ready for Love’. It was an elaborate and decadent collection filled with beautiful embroideries and soft pastels. The jewels had a South Asian feel to them and designer Manish Arora asked close friend, jewelry designer Noor Fares to design hand painted wing earrings inspired by the textiles and patterns in the collection.
MIU MIU: showcased amazing twisted metal cuff bracelets and brooches that were accented with vintage style cabochons and rhinestone flowers. The designer also carried the fruit theme, that we’ve spotted from several designers, and added cherries to delicate charm bracelets and necklaces.ELIE SAAB: The safari and the Amazon were strong themes to SS18 RTW collection from Elie Saab. Metal leaves turned into bracelets and statement rings and gold fringe and colorful enamel arrowheads accented the collars and wrists of the runway models. The accessories reflected the jungle’s colorful untamed nature.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN: There was a Victorian vibe going on with the jewelry at the McQueen show. Models were draped in a multitude of pearl and chain necklaces that featured clusters of pendants. We can’t help but love the stacked ears on the models. The jewelry vibe: the more the merrier and we couldn’t be happier!HERMES: Hermes infused their clear glass jewelry by stacking it on brightly colored leather cord. The iconic fashion and leather house also showcased signature leather bracelets and necklaces embellished with studs.VALENTINO: Inspired by the moon, Valentino designer Pierpaolo Piccioli created pearl drop earrings sprinkled with gemstones and tiny gold pyramid studs. Resembling the shape and surface texture of the moon perhaps? He was also influenced by the Valentino archives of the 80s.
